Malvertising:

Malvertising (malicious advertising) refers to the use of online advertisements to spread malware. Scammers inject malicious code into legitimate ad networks, which then display these ads on social media and reputable websites. This tactic allows malware to reach a wide audience, often without requiring user interaction, making it a challenging cyber threat.

QR Code Scams (Mobile Responsive)

QR codes are meant to be convenient and efficient, and this is precisely what scammers prey on. They can be sent digitally using social media, text messages, or emails or found on flyers, posters, and other public spaces. Scammers love new trends and use QR codes to trick you into scanning their malicious links!

Phish Reporter Update:

We are planning on updating the O365 version on the 23rd of July 2025 at 20:00 AEST. This update to the O365 Phish Reporter extends the compatibility of the ribbon manifest file to be used with classic version of Outlook. Please visit our knowledge base to stay up to date with all the changes and that will be included as well as supported versions.

Admin Action

If you're currently using the Standard version of the Phish Reporter and wish to switch to the Ribbon version, you will need to update to the Ribbon manifest file. No action is required for both the Standard or Ribbon versions, and this update will be applied dynamically.

New Email Domains Coming Soon:

Action Required: Whitelist New Email Domains

We’ve extended the deadline to whitelist our new email domains to 1 August 2025. These domains will be used for simulations, training, and support emails. To avoid any disruptions to the platform please ensure you've confirmed with our Support team that this has been completed. If you've already done so, no further action is required.
